Henderson Equality Center provides a variety of free and accessible programs, services, and resources designed to support LGBTQ+ individuals, youth, families, seniors, and allies throughout Henderson and Southern Nevada. From social and support groups to education, food assistance, community resources, volunteer opportunities, and connections to health and wellness services, our goal is to create a welcoming environment where everyone can find the support, resources, and connections they need to thrive.
Social & Support Groups
Finding community can make a meaningful difference. Henderson Equality Center offers social and support groups that provide opportunities to connect, share experiences, build friendships, and find community. Our programming serves a variety of LGBTQ+ identities, ages, families, and community interests. Groups are designed to provide welcoming spaces where participants can meet others, participate in discussions, and develop meaningful connections.
Health & Wellness Services
Through Henderson Wellness Clinic and community partnerships, Henderson Equality Center helps connect community members with accessible health and wellness services in a welcoming and inclusive environment. Available services may include primary care, sexual health services, HIV and STI testing and treatment, gender-affirming care, mental and behavioral health services, vaccinations, laboratory services, and other preventive healthcare services.
Healthcare services are provided through Henderson Wellness Clinic and appropriate healthcare providers that is located inside of the Henderson Equality Center.
Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteers are an important part of Henderson Equality Center’s work. Community members can contribute their time and talents through programs, special events, educational activities, community outreach, and other volunteer opportunities throughout the year. Whether you can volunteer regularly or help with a single event, there are opportunities to make a meaningful contribution to our community.
Community Events
Henderson Equality Center hosts community events throughout the year that bring people together, provide resources, celebrate our community, and create opportunities for connection. Events may include resource fairs, educational workshops, family activities, youth events, holiday programs, community celebrations, fundraising events, and special programming.
